The scientific and practical collected volume “Forensic Herald” is a scientific peer-reviewed publication with open access. It deals with theoretical, methodological, regulatory, practical, historical, organizational issues of forensic examination and criminalistics; considers the scientific support of the legislative process in the field of expert activity aimed at improving the existing and developing a new expert and evidentiary research base, the expansion of its spectrum, increase in science intensity and reliability; highlights the results of comprehensive studies of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the expert process of detection and investigation of offenses, as well as the results of applied scientific developments in the field of advancement of expert technologies and the latest high-precision special tools.
