DIFFERENTIATION OF THE CONCEPT OF «ADDITIONAL PRINTING» AND «TECHNICAL MONTAGE» IN THE TECHNICAL EXAMINATION OF DOCUMENTS

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to improve the theoretical foundations and expand the methodological basis of forensic research of documents in establishing the fact of printing and technical installation of documents. Methodology. The reliability of the obtained results and conclusions is ensured by the application of a number of methods of scientific knowledge. Thus, with the help of methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization and forecasting, modern definitions of such types of forgery of documents as technical editing and reprinting are formulated, their features are determined. A comprehensive systematic approach demonstrates the possibility of a positive solution to the issue related to the study of forged documents. Scientific novelty. In the context of forensic examination of documents, the definition of «reprinting» is clarified, the forensic definition of the term «technical editing of documents» is formulated, the main methods of making documents by technical editing are classified. Conclusions. The linguisticcriminological meaning of the terms «reprinting» and «technical editing» at the present stage of development of forensic technical examination of documents has been determined, which has made it possible to clarify their content. It is stated that reprinting and technical editing combine their belonging to the ways of changing the original content of the document. They differ in the technology of making changes and the object of study (original document / technical image of the document). The definition of «reprint» from the standpoint of its modernization has been clarified. The main methods of making documents are classified. As a result of generalization of practical experience of carrying out examinations of documents with the changed maintenance signs of reprinting and technical installation of documents are systematized.
